The motto of this year’s Logistics Winter University was “future mobility in urban areas”.
The aim was to teach the participating students from Brazil, England, Indonesia, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan and the USA about sustainable logistics solutions for urban areas, present them in practice and apply them to a logistics project.
Thanks to the fruitful cooperation between Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, the HUB31 technology and start-up center and AEP Solutions GmbH, students from all over the world were once again able to get to know the start-ups based there and their ideas on the topic of sustainability during a visit this year.
“The spectrum ranged from inspection robots for oil platforms, planning software for greenhouse gas emissions, intelligent cutting boards that automate food tracking and smart e-drive solutions for boats, to delivery drones and the latest 3D printing technologies. “It really amazed everyone in the audience,” says Prof. Dr. Rico Wojanowski. ”
